When traveling through Death Valley I saw a small cluster of flowers and cactus. This inspired me to paint this image. The female spirit of the desert is represented here by the woman with closed eyes. the cat next to her represents the animal spirit of the desert.
The watercolor painting has beautiful soft colors and emotes a very soothing feeling.
